What is the full model number or product number of your g6 notebook?
I don't know of any g6's that came with the Realtek audio.
The ones I am familiar with all came with the IDT audio.
It is a very common issue for notebooks that have the IDT audio for it to quit working on W10.
If your notebook really has the IDT audio like I think it does, see if installing the only W10 IDT audio driver that was release to HP works on your notebook.
IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver
6.10.6492.0
Restart the PC after installing the driver.
If that driver does not work, unfortunately, there is nothing I know of that can be done.
