Doesn't work for Envy 15-j010us. Just reinstalls IDT. No sign of Beats anywhere and still have low audio.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?
  • When was the last time it worked fine?

While you respond to that, let's try these steps: 

  • Go to Device Manager. Expand Sound, video and game controllers and locate your IDT High Definition Audio CODEC device. Right-click on this device and choose Update Driver Software
  • Select Yes in the Update Driver Warning. If necessary, please restart your computer.
