Hello there!
I recently purchased this laptop, which works flawlessly, except for one little thing: The audio driver.
The driver is completely buggy, for example, it exhibits delay for playing a sound (especially notorious if you play around with the volume slider.) And you can see on the Task Manager that RAM usage for Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation process increases exponentially if you click the slider enough times and quickly (Up to 214 MB... this is completely abnormal.). Also, System and System Interrupts are constantly using CPU (not a lot, but they are always using 0.5 or 1% of CPU), also Windows Driver Foundation processes are initialized, meaning they are constantly filtering and monitoring for driver issues (You usually never see this loaded unless you have a faulty driver).
This potentially can hurt system performance, because you are dealing with a driver that is constantly doing things that cause windows to use resources, and also exhibit delay issues that they shouldn't have.
Doing a system reset does nothing to this. This is all result of a faulty sound driver.
This is not a question, but more like a report for HP so you can update your driver packages.
Thanks for reading!
