The Right Speaker is not working it was sounding crackling last day but today it is completely off and just a small cracking sound comes when the sound level goes high in songs. I have connected a jumper on headphone port inside laptop.

Few months back the headphones were not connecting to the laptop then i tried to solve it by connecting a jumper on headphone port(female headphone port)  so that it shows the OS that headphone is connected all the time whether it is connected to port or not. Now when i have to listen from speaker the i have to switch the audio output device manually to speaker. It's been around two months now that i have done this. every thing was working fine till yesterday.

I have now tested the speaker output from bios diagnostic menu as well there also the speaker is not working.

I have updated my BIOS just 2-3 days back after update also it was working fine.

My question is where this problem can occur in s/w or in h/w, whether it is caused due to that jumper, how can i solve it?

This sounds like hardware related issue with the computer as internal spears are not functioning normally.
