HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15-bl1XX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there,

I have had my Spectre for about two years and this problem happened after the first few days I bought it. When the right speaker stops working, the only solution to fix this is to re-install the latest BIOS update. However, this problem will happen again after a few days.

Is there any way I can fix this for good? Because even though I love my machine a lot, this problem has become more and more annoying.

Thank you!

P.S: All the drivers are up-to-date. I also used HP Support Assistant to troubleshoot the problem. Asking the community is my last resort.

Please download and perform a CLEAN install the following Realtek Audio software

Hi,

It still doesn't work. There's a pop sound and after that, it went silent. No matter how many times I tried to perform clean install, it still goes silent after a while 😕
