I have a new laptop Envy that has been working great for the first month.
This week something changed.
I didn't (to my knowledge) add any new software or change my settings.
I have received no error messages.
The sound is SUPER tinny and there is no bass.
When I try and adjust the EQ in the Bang & Olufson audio control it has no effect.
Thanks for any help with this. I bought the computer specifically for audio editing.

Hi,
My only other suggestion at the moment would be to try the alternative installer on the link below.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp78501-79000/sp78631.exe

Hi,
Can you post back with the full Model No. and Product No. of your notebook - you can usually get this by holding down the fn key and pressing esc, otherwise see Here for a guide on locating this information.

Hi,
The Model No./Product No. are Ok and not personally identifiable information, whereas the Serial No. is and should not be posted.
Regarding the audio issue, try downloading and reinstalling the Realtek HD Audio software package on the following link - this will also reinstall the B&o gui.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp80501-81000/sp80675.exe
When the reinstallation has completed, restart the notebook.
