Its a hp 15s laptop, My laptop screen starts flickering whenever i turn on microphone in meet and even if i open sound settings and when i turn off the microphone, the screen stops flickering

I understand that your HP 15.6-inch Laptop PC 15-d5000 (HP 15s) screen flickers whenever you turn on the microphone in Google Meet or open the sound settings, and the flickering stops when you turn the microphone off.
This issue could be related to driver conflicts, power settings, or hardware interference. Let’s try the following troubleshooting steps:
Update Audio & Graphics Drivers
Update Audio Drivers:
- Open Device Manager (Press Win + X, then select Device Manager).
- Expand Audio inputs and outputs > Right-click on your microphone > Update driver > Select Search automatically for drivers.
- Repeat the process under Sound, video, and game controllers.
Update Graphics Drivers:
- Expand Display adapters in Device Manager.
- Right-click on your graphics driver (Intel or AMD) > Update driver.
- If the issue persists, download the latest drivers from HP support website.
Check for Windows Updates
- Go to Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates and install any available updates.
If the issue persists, please let me know:
- Does the issue occur with an external microphone or only the built-in one?
- Is the flickering happening in other apps that use the microphone?
