Has anyone yet found a solution to the problem described in the following topic?

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Audio/B-amp-O-Speakers-past-couple-of-months-get-static-noise...

Since a few weeks any time, when sound is played in Windows via the built-in sound system (Windows start, click on sound events, play music etc.), the sound starts with a short whining noise which gets shorter after the laptop is running for some time. The noise should have its origin in the bang & olufsen speakers, as it disappers, when the speaker cable is detached from the mainboard (leaving only left and right speakers to play sound). Unfortunately a replacement of the bang & olufsen speaker has not been successful, as well as all of the actions (automatic problem solution, reinstall drivers, install alternative drivers, update BIOS etc.) recommended by the HP virtual chat assistant and found in the support center.

Any ideas to solve this issue would be appreciated! Many thanks in advance!

@JohannG  Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are getting Short whining sound.

As you have stated that you have already updated the drivers and BIOS as well. Still, the issue is not resolved.

I would suggest you contact our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
