Product: HP ZBook Firefly 14 inch G9 Mobile Workstation PC (4C3U5AV)

Audio is distorted and low volume, fault involves both the microphone and speakers.

 

Issue occured previously, and seemed to be resolved by rolling back the Intel Smart Sound Technology Driver.

 

Now a HP Thunderbolt 120w G4 Dock has been connectred and the sound issues have returned, they are present either with or without the dock.

 

I suspect a driver issue or Windows Update is altering the drivers, however the issue returning when the dock got connected is new.
