I am experiencing an issue with my laptop's sound playback after upgrading to Windows 11. The sound intermittently stops working, and while reinstalling the audio drivers temporarily resolves the problem, it returns after some time. In some cases, restarting the device helps, but the issue reappears eventually.
Could you please assist me with resolving this issue permanently?
Thank you for your support.

What is your machine ? Please try a clean install Audio driver
1. Download https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp131501-132000/sp131797.exe
and save on your computer
2. Use Device Manager to uninstall audio driver (if any),
3. Reboot machine,
4. Install downloaded file above,
5. Reboot machine.
Hope this helps otherwise please post the model/product of your machine back.
Regards

I tried what you suggested. Uninstalled and installed the driver you linked to. However, after a few days the problem came back again. Sound playback and microphone does not work again. The model of my laptop is HP Probook 450 G6
