Since the update to 21H1, the sound device is no more detected by the OS. I tried all sorts of things such as removing the driver, reinstalling using the latest driver from the HP support. The technical person who came to fix the issue, said that I needed to re-install windows to a previous version. we tried several things with Microsoft Support as well. Microsoft's verdict is that there is an issue with the driver.

I suspect that HP does not have a driver for windows 10 21H1 .

Is there anything I have not done so far that I should do? I tested the sound with a Linux USB key and the sound device works.

Thanks.
