Hi,

My new Z32 monitor has an audio output jack which I want to use to connect to external speakers.

My Mac recognises the Z27 audio out channel (the monitor is connected via USB-C) but the sound output via the port has regular static and popping.

I have set the Power Mode on the monitor to Performance - but no luck getting rid of the static.

If I connect directly to the Macbook - no audio problems.

Any ideas?

@, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

The Mac OS  combination is not tested by HP. So, the functionality is not guaranteed.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

I have the same issue! Mac Mini M1 connected to the Z32 via USB C Thunderbolt.

That is not helpful at all...

Do you have any idea what could be causing the issue?

I also have this problem - MacbookAir connected to the Z32.

The feedback provided by the HP support agent is NOT HELPFUL.

We need a resolution.
