Hi @Dimitris8526,

Thank you for the response.

Try these steps:

Update Audio Drivers: Make sure your audio drivers are up to date, as outdated drivers can cause various sound issues.

  • Go to the HP support website, search for your laptop model, and download the latest audio drivers.
  • Alternatively, you can open "Device Manager," expand the "Sound, video and game controllers" section, right-click on your audio device, and select "Update driver."

Check Sound Settings:

  • Right-click on the speaker icon in the system tray and select "Sounds."
  • Navigate to the "Playback" tab, select your speakers, and click "Properties."
  • Check the enhancements tab and disable any sound enhancements that might be active.

Disable Power Management for Audio Devices:

  • In Device Manager, right-click your audio device, and select "Properties."
  • On the "Power Management" tab, make sure "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is unchecked.

Run Audio Troubleshooter:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Playing Audio and run the troubleshooter to automatically find and fix issues.

Check for BIOS Updates:

  • Sometimes audio issues can be resolved with a BIOS update. Visit the HP support website to check if a BIOS update is available for your laptop model.

Inspect External Devices:

  • If any external devices are connected, disconnect them to see if the issue persists.

I hope this helps.
