Spectre X360 15t-3b000 laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I just recently purchased this laptop (received end of May 2021). So far it has been working fine, except for some sound issues. No matter what I try, the volume is not nearly as high as it needs to be, also inconsistent. I mostly watch YouTube videos and I notice that the volume varies widely from one video to the next, some videos will be fine, others are so low that the only way I can really hear the audio is to plug in a set of headphones.

Even when all settings are at 100% (speaker, volume on YouTube settings, volume in the control panel), the volume is too low an can barely be heard.

Any ideas how this can be corrected?

TIA,

Rosemary

Hello Praveenbv,

Thank you very much for replying to my inquiry. I have followed your instructions and updated the drivers. I do not notice any significant difference, at least not in YouTube which is where I am encountering the issues. But I will play a few more different videos to see if maybe there is improvement.

Thank you again for your assistance.

Rosemary
