Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I start up my laptop and either test the sound or play the sound start at the normal level where a speaker volume of 30-40% is relatively high and a good level to use. After no more than 10 seconds the sound at this level drops to extremely quiet, I turn my speaker volume up to 100% and this sound is still less than 20% was before the issue occurred and the sound is too low even at 100% to play videos on. My laptop is less than 2 weeks old and this issue first occurred after a few days, I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers for the speakers which returned the sound to normal levels for around 3 days before this has occurred for the last 3 days. Whenever I disabled and reenabled the drivers, uninstall then reinstall or run any tests or things designed at fixing it works for the first 5-10 seconds as normal before the issue occurs and sound becomes extremely low again. At this stage the only thing I think the issue can be is broken speakers but as I have had the laptop less than 2 weeks and I still get the few seconds without problems I doubt this is the case but don't know how to fix.

I am having a very similar issue. When I restart the laptop and click the volume icon in the taskbar and set the volume to 100% it is very loud(normal)- I keep cliking the 100% level to check the sound level but after a few seconds the audio level seems to be derated by something. I tried reinstalling the drivers, unistalling the audio device, but nothing worked. This laptop is two months old.

I tried a few mins later to do the same, and at the first click the sound is loud again but after a few seconds it gets derated again.

I used the AMD Driver Clean up suggested elsewhere on this forum - Radeon update issue...works perfectly now thanks
