My sound only works through my headphones.  When I try to play something on my computer without my headphones, I hear a high pitched whining sound.  I have tried updating my drivers, disabling my drivers, deleting my drivers, and restarting multiple times throughout.  Nothing seems to work.  I am at a loss of what to do next.                                This is my device managerThis is my device manager

Welcome to HP Support Forums. A really great platform for posting all your questions and finding solutions.

I have gone through your Post and I understand your concerns

Since the issue occurs when using the Notebook speakers, I suggest you run an Audio Diagnostic from UEFI to confirm the Hardware Functionality of the Speakers

- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second.
- When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- On the main menu, click Component Tests and Audio

Keep me posted how it goes

Thank you and have a wonderful day 😊
