I purchased my laptop a day ago and the sound output is very low and quality is unexpectedly poor. The speakers are at 100% and I can still barely hear anything!

@Shivam93

Please perform a clean install Audio software/driver, this should help.

  (a) Download the following driver and save on your computer,
             https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp112001-112500/sp112112.exe

   (b) Go to Device Manager, Sound to uninstall sound driver (Realtek) and reboot,
   (c) Right click downloaded file and select Run as administrator,
   (d) Reboot again.

Regards.

Did exactly what you mentioned but made no difference. Every other person having purchased an HP with B&O seems to be having this issue!!
