HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13-ae0xx

Hi

All of a sudden, the right speaker on my laptop seems very tinny. I did a speaker test and the left side sounds clear.

It is fine when I use my headphones or any other speaker, just the actual right laptop speaker.

Any guidance would be most appreciated.

Thanks!

James

@jcolv145 Going by your diagnosis, and the fact that external headphones and speaker works fine while the internal right speaker does not work as it should be, we've pretty much concluded that this is indeed a hardware malfunction, the only thing left to do, is a BIOS update which may help in such scenarios: click here to find and install the same.

And click here for steps on how to update BIOS.
