OMEN Laptop - 15-ek0013dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have soundcore anker liberty 2 pro headphones and a hp omen  15-ek00f3dx laptop.  Whenever I connect the headphones they show a driver error after about 5 mins of booting the laptop.  After this happens whenever you select the headphones as the output whatever streaming I am watching (tried with netflix, hulu, amazon, and HBO max) stops and wont continue even if I reload the page or I can hear background sounds (like sound effects but there is no dialogue.   This happens after multiple restarts and I have checked and no driver updates have come down in a while.  I'm not sure what changed.   The headphones work well with all my other devices.   Any help you could provide would be appreciated.  Thanks

@ClosestGalaxy35 --  they show a driver error after about 5 mins of booting the laptop

What is the exact wording of the error-message?

Can you use "System Restore" to time-warp Windows back to a date/time a few days ago, before the first occurrence of the message?

On the Bluetooth settings page it simply says driver error.  Device manager doesn't find anything wrong with it and claims all drivers for both the adapter and the headphones are up to date, working correctly,  and haven't been updated since 2020.   I will try system restore.  Although wouldn't that mean I will have to prevent windows updates to keep that solution working?  At least short term.

OK so a couple of updates.   Discovered that if I use the wireless headset option under audio device instead of the stereo headset option everything works.  Swapping to the stereo causes streaming to stop like before.  System restore caused most of my apps to fail when I tried to open them including discord, chrome, and windows settings.   It flashed up a garbled error message saying the app could not be opened and something about intel graphics control.
