Microsoft Windows 11

Ok, weird problem here, but my inbuilt speaker is always at 100% volume, unless I turn the voulme to 0%. Even if the voulme is at 2(out of 100 max), it is still the same loudness as it would be in 100.

The problem doesn't exist with the headphones, i can adjust the volume as expected on the headphones.
Is this one more driver incompatibility issue between HP and windows 11?
(the previous issue was the inbuilt mic and camera not being detected, still not resolved yet)

Firstly, I recommend you to do a hard reset on the computer by removing the battery from the computer. With the battery and power cord unplugged, press and hold the Power button for approximately 15 seconds.. Disconnect any external devices connected to the laptop

Turn the computer ON, keep tapping the ESC key on the keyboard during startup. This should boot the computer to a startup menu.

Press F2 for system diagnostics, on the diagnostics screen, do a system test and under component test please perform an audio test and keyboard test. Refer to this article for assistance.

If all the test pass, restart the computer and once the computer reaches the desktop, please run HP Support Assistant and check and install the updates.

On HP Support Assistant as well, you have a diagnostics option, using which you can run a diagnostics for audio. Refer to this article for using HPSA.

If the issue persists, please contact our phone support at www.hp.com/contacthp for the service options.

Let me know if this helps, or reply for further assistance.
