Hi @Arvind2405,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you've already attempted some troubleshooting steps without success, there are a few additional things you can try to address the crackling and noisy sound issue with your HP Pavilion X360 speakers.

  • Update Drivers: Ensure that your audio drivers are up to date. Sometimes outdated or corrupted drivers can cause sound issues. You can usually find the latest drivers on the HP website or through Windows Update.
  • Check Audio Settings: Verify that your audio settings are configured correctly. Ensure that volume levels are not set too high, as this can sometimes cause distortion.
  • Disable Audio Enhancements: Sometimes, built-in audio enhancements can cause problems. Try disabling any enhancements such as equalizers or audio effects in your sound settings to see if it improves the sound quality.
  • Test with Different Audio Sources: Try playing audio from different sources (e.g., online videos, music files, etc.) to see if the issue persists across all sources or if it's specific to certain applications or files.
  • External Speakers/Headphones: Connect external speakers or headphones to your laptop and check if the crackling noise still occurs. If the issue doesn't occur with external speakers or headphones, it may indicate a problem with your laptop's internal speakers.
  • System Restore/Reset: As a last resort, you could try performing a system restore to revert your system to a previous state where the speakers were functioning correctly. Alternatively, you might consider performing a factory reset of your laptop, but be aware that this will erase all data on your system, so be sure to back up any important files beforehand.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
