Hello, I have had a static problem with my computer ever since I bought it. It makes a static noise when audio plays, and after I stop playing the sound, it will continue for a few more seconds. It does not happen when I play through headphones or external speakers. Previously I have contacts support and they have updated my drivers, causing the problem to go away. Problem is, every few months it comes back. I have had to pay for extended warranty 2x now just to receive help. I dont want to keep paying for a problem that doesn't fully resolve. I looked at my optional drivers, but it says all are up to date, so I dont know what I can do to fix it this time.

Things I've tried:

entire computer reset-- 2x -- did not resolve either time

uninstalled and reinstalled Realtek -- did not resolve

updated ALL optional drivers-- went away for about 1 month, problem has since come back and there are no other optional drivers I can install

Please help! I use my audio all the time and this has been driving me crazy since 2019
