Product: HP Stream 7 Tablet - 5701na
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Iv'e had a Stream 7 for years but never used it much. Now I want to connect a headset via the 3.5mm jack.

Audio FROM the tablet plays fine through the headset.

But the my speech is still being picked up via the tablet's on-board microphone and not the headset mic.

I've been into the sound settings but the only microphone showing is the on-board one.

I suspect I'm doing something stupid! Any help much appreciated.

Me again! I can't see how do delete my post. It''s working! I don't know what I did but I did it.
