So I have 2 pairs of ear buds, Galaxy buds2 and Bose Sports. Here are the facts and my suspicions;
1. Both ear buds work with phone
2. Both earbuds work on my work HP laptop with windows 10
3. Both ear buds stutter on my personal HP laptop with Windows 11
4. Laptop is up to date with updates - same problem stuttering
5. Removed and reinstalled drivers - same problem stuttering
6. Removed McAfee - same problem stuttering
7. Tweaked a few settings - same problem stuttering
8. Played music on Youtube, Personal Server and Sky Q - same problem stuttering
9. I believe the issue is windows 11 due to buds playing on my windows 10 laptop, or a technical blue tooth issue with this laptop, although troubleshooters do not detect a problem.
I will appreciate a reasonable response, and not to take me through the basics, in my view the buds should connect and simply work without messing with settings. If you think it may be a laptop issue, then please let me know as warranty is in date.
Thanks

At last I have managed to figure it out myself, this is a fix that is well worth remembering.
So the issue is 2 different earbuds stutter on my laptop. Problem is not driver updates or software related to earbuds, so I knew it must be somewhere in laptop, both earbuds worked in windows 10 hp laptop but not windows 11 hp laptop.
So in device manager I right clicked on 'Realtek Bluetooth Adaptor' (as this affects all devices) and selected properties. I then selected the 'Power Management' tab. I then unchecked the 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power' box, and hey presto.
This makes complete sense, if this is trying to turn off the device to save power, and whilst device is trying to play, then hey, stuttering.
Well worth having this fix up your sleeve, I have tested on my go to stuttering video and sky sports, all is working well now.

No sorry, you have given me the basics which I have already done.
The fact that there are 2 perfectly good earbuds that work on another windows 10 laptop, mobile phones and tablet suggest the issue is either the bluetooth or windows 11.
I rally am at a loss on this
