Spectre x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've had my Spectre x360 since Jan 2016. We've used it primarily as a laptop, but recently we decided to set it up more as a desktop, connecting it with a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and speakers. The speakers I bought were Cyber Acoustics CA-3610. They connect with a basic 3.5mm jack to the headphone port of the laptop. It's a 2.1 system - a Left and Right desktop speaker plus a subwoofer. However, I can't get any sound from the sub. I've connected the 3.5mm jack to my phone and played the same music, and the subwoofer works just fine. Only when connected to the laptop do I encounter the issue - no sound to the subwoofer.

We have Conexant Smart Audio HD as the installed program. Doing some research, I see other posts telling me to adjust the equalizer under Properties --> Enhancements tab. However, I don't have any options on that tab. It only lets me check "Disable All Sound Effects." There are no other options.

I've verified I have the most recent drivers installed for Conexant. We've always kept up to date with other Windows Updates.

What's causing the lack of sound to the subwoofer, and what can I do to fix it?

Thank you,

Chris
