Not sure if you can check it out but after I change the regedit it changed right back to default. Which means the problem still exists. Is there any other way that can fix this.
TBH I know why not many people using HP anymore... the driver update sucks, they can't fix the issue that has been a while now...

I tried, they don't give a ...
Try with setting those three values as stated in post:
- ConservationIdleTime = ff ff ff ff;
- IdlePowerState = 00 00 00 00;
- PerformanceIdleTime = ff ff ff ff.
If it's still reseting after pc restart try reinstalling driver too.
I know it's annoying, I hope you resolve this problem.

Ok so I am being really mad about this but I will make it cool this time as much as possible since this is the 2nd HP product that has issue in my hand but I'm using it so we'll make it easy.
I am using OMEN by HP Laptop 15-dc0xxx, Windows 10 Enterprise 64bit latest version. 2 issue is in the laptop itself which is minor because I belive it's the software problem not the hardware problem but I'm not sure why your deverlopers is taking so long to fix this. I will take the first one about the sound first because I'm not the only person that encountered this. After I reinstalled the driver on your website, it worked well at the first time but after around 15-30 seconds not using it, it will take a while (2 seconds) to let the driver output the sound again. That's the only issue that I'm really mad with. I have tried using all troubleshooting software from HP and Microsoft and even reinstalling Windows and drivers but it doesn't work. I have tried installing older driver, but you know why I'm here. I am now using a temporary driver known as Microsoft generic driver (High Definition Device). Even though this might work for a while, but after the restart, the cracking of the sound is available... About the Realtek driver, I have reported this problem to Microsoft but there is no respond from them for a while so I'm really want to return this laptop but I have already bought it 5 months ago so there's no way back. I've tried following the registry itself in the post but after the restart it will change it back the digit back to default (from 00 00 00 00 to 0a 00 00 00). I continue to find other threads and some said that this is because it's the windows april update or whatever, both update and drivers miscommunicate with each other I believe so they encountered this. I believe the driver can be updated really soon because this is a minor issue yet it's annoyed almost everybody but I don't see any updates about the drivers that you guys did. Yes I did update the BIOS and now it slowed my booting up time of my computer, but we will leave that for another day. What I want now or we want now is to get the driver fixed.... my model is not the only model that encountered this. I believed this issue existed since 2017 because I found a small thread on reddit about that. Hope you guys understand the problem, report this to your developer and fix this asap.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Note that not all three values need to be zeroed.
I only occured reseting if all values are set to zero.
There's no point reporting this to Microsoft as problem isn't caused by them.
Realtek is the ones to blame.
Even with this fixed, there are other problems,
such as sound crackling after waking up from standby.
Sorry for late response, for some reason I was unable to log in on forums.
Network connection problem of some kind.
If you need additional help feel free to ask.

I know that there's still more issue that they need to fix, but I feel the most annoying about the driver is the delay sound itself. The crackling is sound is less happening in my laptop so I believe it's fine for me to get used to that. The only thing that bugged me now is the delay of the sound when listening to the videos or music. I'm not sure how to report to Realtek right now.

Well, I mean it works to solve for the delay, and yeah as you said, it will lead to another problem lol, I tried reinstalled the driver by uninstall completely old driver, but my driver called Stereo Mix is not working. Not sure how to fix this lol.
04-06-2019 06:29 PM
Changing values in registry isn't related with stereo mix.
Problems that occur with it are usually solved by disabling and enabling.
Also, that's not driver, it's virtual device which can be used for recording output.
