@abhishek1januar, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The "Cannot connect to RPC service" error in the Bang & Olufsen (B&O) audio control panel usually indicates a problem with the Realtek Audio Service or RPC (Remote Procedure Call) service. Follow these steps to fix it on your Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 15-fa0000:

Restart RPC Services

  1. Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  2. Locate Remote Procedure Call (RPC) and Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Locator.
  3. Right-click on both, select Properties, and ensure:
    • Startup type is set to Automatic.
    • If the service is stopped, click Start.
  4. Click Apply > OK.

Restart Realtek Audio Services

  1. In the Services window, find Realtek Audio Service.
  2. Right-click it and choose Restart.
  3. If it’s missing, reinstall the audio driver (see Step 4).

Check Windows Audio Services

  1. In Services, find Windows Audio and Windows Audio Endpoint Builder.
  2. Ensure both are set to Automatic and running.
  3. Restart both services.

Reinstall the Realtek Audio Driver

  1. Download the latest Realtek audio driver from HP:
    • Go to HP Support.
    • Enter your laptop model: Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 15-fa0000.
    • Look for Realtek Audio Driver under Drivers & Downloads.
  2. Uninstall the current driver:
    • Press Win + X > Device Manager.
    • Expand Sound, video, and game controllers.
    • Right-click Realtek Audio > Uninstall device (check "Delete driver software").
    • Restart your laptop.
  3. Install the downloaded driver and restart.

Update Windows & HP Drivers

  1. Go to Settings > Windows Update and install updates.
  2. Install HP Support Assistant and update all drivers.

Check for Corrupt System Files

  1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
  2. Run the following command:sfc /scannow
  3. Wait for the process to complete and restart your laptop.

Perform a System Restore (if necessary)

If the issue started recently, try System Restore:

  1. Press Win + R, type rstrui, and press Enter.
  2. Choose a restore point before the issue began.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
