The computer i have now is used and i just got it a few days ago. When i got it i restarted the system so that it didn't have any of the previous person's information on it. I didn't notice that the audio wasn't working until after i had already started putting the software i needed on to it (drawing programs, discord, spotify, etc).
Whenever i troubleshoot the audio it says it can't find an issue. I went into my driver manager and whenever i try and download/update the new driver from the driver manager it moves it to a different section of the driver manager. Once i try and download/update it from there it shows this message.
I have tried downloading the driver manually, although i don't really know if i did it right (i just downloaded the driver and then installed it into my computer, im not sure if you have to do anything manually). i havent really been able to find anyone else having this problem although it might have to do with how i word my searches.
If anyone can help or has encountered this problem and could help me, i would really appreciate it.
I would also like to add that in my settings it says that there are no audio input or output drivers installed.
If anyone would need more photos of error messages or such please let me know! i would like to solve this asap.

Hi @Beenicw
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the audio issue.
Let's try these steps to update the computer -
Step 1 Windows Updates -
1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Step 2 HP Support Assistant Updates -
1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Try testing the hardware -
1) Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
2) Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
3) On the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu, click System Tests.
4) Click Extensive Test.
If the hardware is fine, try re-installing the operating system. Please back-up the data and try these steps -
1) Shutdown the computer.
2) Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears.
3) Press F11 once for System Recovery.
4) Choose the Keyboard Layout.
5) Click on Troubleshoot.
6) Go to Recovery Manager and click on System Recovery.
Note : Back-up all your data as System Recovery will delete everything that you had saved or installed on the computer.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
