Product: spectre 360
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
The microphone array on my HP Spectre x360 is not working with any software packages.
In control panel / Sound / Recording, the bars next to Microphone array indicate sound OK
In Windows recorder, zoom, skype, dragon naturally speaking, Audacity etc., nothing comes through.
Can anyone suggest a fix? Preferaby not a full system refresh.

Have you tried connecting an external microphone and check if the issue persists?

Drivers checked – best already installed
Audio check run. No errors reported sound comes out but there is disappointingly no test that the microphone receives sound.
Troubleshooter couldn’t identify the problem
Sound settings configuration checks done. All OK
Still no microphone to any apps.
