Trying to connect a thunderbolt audio interface for music recording in Ableton Live but I get recurring clicks and pops. They go away and return after a couple seconds without fail. My cpu is not being pushed at all and my sample rate is as high as possible where I should never have problems. The brand interface is Antelope Audio and the device is the Discrete 8. When I use Ableton to play a drum loop, my cpu isn't anywhere near high. I should be fine. I even tried disabling speedstep and c1e in throttlestop. Nothing is working. All drivers for the Discrete have been uninstalled and reinstalled.

@Martymartin_ez Welcome to HP Community!

Please let me know without using the software and device you are getting a click and pop sounds.

Please perform the power drain steps and check for the issue.

Please remove all the peripherals connected to the computer, then shut down the computer if it is on and then press and hold the power button and F6 key for around 10 seconds.

If the issue still persists, please try to connect to the different laptops and check.
