HP ENVY Laptop - 13-ba0553sa
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi

I am enduring a problem with tinny sound on my HP ENVY Laptop - 13-ba0553sa.  This can be fixed using the Fix audio issues in HP support centre BUT every time I restart it comes back.  I suspect it started after a windows update.  I have uninstalled the driver completely and restarted the computer and seen it is automatically put back as it was following restart.  I have also uninstalled it completely then restored it using the fix audio issues function.  I have noted that whichever way I change it, the version of the driver is the same.  What other settings does the fix audio driver function do, that could fix the problem which WIndows then changes back on restart?

Update:  it is also brand new so there is no restore point I can go back to before the problem.
