Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a USB audio testing device called DATS from Parts Express. This device worked properly on my previous HP laptop. When I plug the device in the audio input goes to 16 Bit 32 K Hz sampling rate and cannot be increased past this point. This device must run at a minimum of 16 Bit 42K HZ to run properly (preferably at 24 Bit 48K Hz).

I have other software that uses the audio in and out has no problems setting the input to 24 Bit 48K Hz and functions properly. When this device is running it is using Intel Smart Sound Technology for USB Audio driver. When using a USB Mic the same driver is selected the setting is 24 Bit 48K Hz.

Its bees suggested that I uninstall the Intel Smart Sound Technology for USB Audio driver.

What happens if I do this and how do I go about this if it's a good idea?

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
