I am trying to use my HIFIMAN RE400C (https://www.amazon.in/Hifiman-RE400c-Type-C-Audiophile-Earphones/dp/B084CG2LHH) USB Type C earphones on my Laptop. It has 3.5 mm jack as well as a USBC port.
I tried to connect directly via USB C port. It doesn't work. I heard the audio sometimes wont go through USB typeC if 3.5mm jack is there.
So by the USB 2.0 Audio logic, i tried to connect the typec earphones to USB A3.1 port using an converting adapter (https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B08XXGF7MH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). It still doesnt work. Shouldn't it work since USB 2.0 Audio is possible?. Also the TypeC earphones have their own DAC.
Some help would be appreciated, I spent 4K on this one. Need to use at least for a year or two.

The USB-C won't work. You should be able to use USB-A port directly.
Regards.

Thanks for the reply.
The earphone only has USB type C connector. So I cannot directly plug it in.
I have used the connector I mentioned in the above post. But it doesn't work. The connector supports audio as per Amazon.
The earphone works fine with an Android phone (1+). But it doesn't seem to be working with the Laptop, don't even recognize it.
If it works with Android phone, I don't think it need any specific driver for this to work on any other device. Some USB C phones with 3.5mm audio jack doesn't support USB C earphones in general, and LG G6 didn't work with this as I had tested. So it makes sense if it does not work directly on a USB C port. But why does it not work with USB A port too?
