HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eh0515sa

HI.  My sound was great until I updated it to Windows 11.

I've lost my Bang & Olufsen sound and Hp audio boost.

My audio is just standard bog Realtek installed by a Windows update, sounds rubbish and is nowhere near as loud as it once was.

Has anyone got my laptop's ORIGINAL audio drivers etc so I can reinstall them and hopefully get decent sound back?

Also, when you press it, the light doesn't come on the volume mute key.  The speakers are still muted but no light on the key.

Thanks

Hi:

Did you install the latest W11 Realtek HD audio driver from your notebook's support page?

Driver - HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eh0000 | HP® Customer Support

The audio enhancements should be installed by the above driver.

Hi.  I have downloaded the driver from the link you provided.

Unfortunately, it will not install.

It does install the files in C://SWSetup but that's as far as it gets.

The instructions say to just click on the downloaded file and follow the instructions but after clicking on the file nothing seems to happen.

Can you advise please?

Thanks

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, I don't know why the driver is not installing beyond the initial process.

I explored the driver folder and there does not appear to be a setup application to run inside that folder.
