ENVY 15t-k000 CTO Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I’m CONSIDERING upgrading my sound card (“CONSIDERING” being the key word). If I were to do that, could I pick any card I want (as long as it’s compatible with Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit))? NOTE: MY LAPTOP HAS AN INTEGRATED SUBWOOFER AND BEATS AUDIO.

As I understand you want to upgrade the sound card,

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

Did you know that the sound card cannot be updated on a notebook?

(Considering, it's inbuilt/integrated to the motherboard and you may need to change the motherboard to get this done)

And I'm afraid HP does not support replacement/upgrade/downgrade or change of motherboard unless it's of the same model and the original stops working.

Personally, you could get an external sound card via USB for a lot cheaper and easier way (of your choice).
