Product: HP ENVY - 17m-ce1013dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I'm replacing my 2019 HP Envy 17".  I am most interested in a multi core processor and best cpu audio quality.  (min 16G ram and 1TB HD)  I'm a retired analog musician/songwriter... I produce tracks in Band in a Box, to Garage Band to Soundforge; and play them back from my laptop.  The old Envy does a good job, and I've no complaints for it's six years of work... but I'm researching to see what might be better audio quality?.. and have enough ram to not get confused;~)  *do I need a gaming computer?  *really like the big screen and font... I don't see like I used to.  Thanks very much for your comments and suggestions.  Jim

Thanks for your suggestion.  I'll review these findings.  I've had good luck with my HP Envy, and enjoy the large 17" screen.  I may just customize the cpu card etc and get a new one.  Do appreciate your input though
