I don't have a decision to this, but I came here after getting the equal problem. I got a new HP Series laptop with Realtek HD audio, and the speakers are AWESOME (I use the best gaming headset from web ratings), but using the headphones always gives low volume. This was not the case on my old Dell Inspiron laptop. So it's not a problem with the headphones. I think the solution would lie in somehow getting a USB headphones which are independent from the soundcard or something.

Hello, I have kinda the same problem but is much different , when I connect my Omen Headset 800 is very quiet . Is like that at all my devices : my ps4 , TV, Phone , laptop and I don't know what to do .
