Product: HP Spectre Folio 13-ak0013dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Weird issue with the built in microphone. I can snap my fingers in front of it and have it pick up that sound, but if I talk (or yell into, or scream at) it won't pick up the voice at all.

 

I've done all the following:

- Audio Troubleshooter

- Microphone is enabled (for all apps)

- Microphone isn't muted

- Microphone level is 100%

- Tried both enhancements and no enhancements

- Uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers

- Ran Windows Updates

- Installed all available updates through HP Assistant

 

I am at a loss, I don't understand how it can pick up a snap but not a voice.
