   To some reason, I need to re-use the recording program,*.exe, of windows XP, but I forget that!!

Can you be more specific, what exactly was this program for?
But if it was a software compatible with windows xp, see being installed with Xp, it is very likely, that it does not work if you are under windows 10 ..
Something equivalent will have to be found!
