HP chromebook 11-v010wm
Chrome OS

Hello, I have the product HP Chromebook 11-v010wm. Recently, there has been a white static noise in my earphones. Every time I watch a video on youtube or on any other website, there's a static noise that comes through. It happens in both earphones and sometimes happens when I just have them plugged in. I'm not sure what to do or if there is any way to fix this. I would greatly appreciate some advice on how to deal with this, thank you.

No, this doesn't happen to my speakers, it only happens when I plug in my headphones. My headphones do not make any static noises when I plug them into other devices. It seems like the static gets louder when I play a video.

Any chance have you tried a different Headphones to check if it's an issue with the Headphone port on the Notebook?

If the issue persists then I suggest you contact HP Support for Service Options
