It's insane that hp can't come up with a solve for the most popular win 11 compatibility issue; Intel SST driver.
I had lost access to my laptop's mic for 6,7 or 8 ? I can't even remember cause it's a long long time, I tried everything possible and I can't imagine bringing an external mic while there are * TWO* installed in my laptop.
please HP fix this, parent with intel, request from Microsoft a patch for it, do anything, please don't let your costomers down 😞

Thank you for pointing to these possible solutions but it seems that the problem has been automatically solved Because I noticed that my laptop BIOS has been updated through windows update and since then the mic is working just fine as it would before updating to windows 11/23H2.
I will accept your reply as a solution because I think if I updated the BIOS as you said that was going to solve the problem.
Thank you again 🙂

Windows 11 has introduced some exciting features, but many users face compatibility challenges, especially with older hardware and software. Common issues include unsupported processors, TPM 2.0 requirements, and apps failing to run properly. These hurdles can be frustrating for those who rely on legacy systems or specific tools. For smoother entertainment experiences, consider exploring apps like HDO BOX HD, which offer a wide range of content and are optimized for modern systems. Embracing such solutions ensures you're not left behind in the tech shift while enjoying top-notch functionality.
