HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eh0000 (9WD46AV)

The overall volume slider in windows 10 does not affect my volume at all. Strangely though, in volume mixer all the individual sliders for each program do work fine, just not the one that controls them all.

Also, it's worth mentioning that using built-in volume control like the one in youtube videos works fine.

If I click on the sound icon in the taskbar and and then on my audio device, there is another device that I don't recognize but it doesn't output any sound. (refer to the image above)

I have tried every possible fix I've seen online, anything from updating audio drivers, restarting windows explorer (basically everything that comes up when googling the issue) but nothing has worked. Also, I tried uninstalling the audio drivers from device manager but this didn't work. If anyone has had the same issue or has a fix it would be very greatly appreciated. This is driving me insane

Thanks in advance
