HP 14-B031TU
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently installed windows 10 to my notebook 14 - B031TU. Everything works fine except for the sound, stock windows 10 driver works but not loud enough when using built in speakers because no dolby advance audio V2. I tried installing the windows 8.1 driver but it completely kills the BASS of all sound which is not good.

Please let me know if there is a driver to fix this issue.

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if this W8.1/W10 IDT audio driver from the 15t-j100 model also works on yours.  Install and restart the PC.

6.10.6491.0

This package contains the driver that enables the IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.

I just finished installing this driver and it works. But the dolby advance audio V2 is not responding. There is no difference when i switch it off and on. So i am not sure if it's running in that mode or not. I tried swiching from wasapi mode to directsound to figure out whether if dolby advance v2 is ON using foobar. It seems like it is not on. Tomorrow i will try it with the inbuilt speakers and post the result.
