HP Spectre x360 - 13-aw0008ca

I had upgraded to Windows 11 a few weeks ago, and everything was working fine -- earlier today I had my computer on sleep mode, and when I turned it back on a blue error appeared (RTKVHD64.SYS).

I've been trying to troubleshoot, and I noticed in my device manager that there is "Audio inputs and outputs" missing, i.e. it's simply not there.

I tried accessing hp support via:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-spectre-13-aw0000-x360-convertible-pc-series/291...

And I don't see Windows 11 as an OS to reinstall my audio drivers.

Am I out of luck? Are there workarounds? Would hugely appreciate any help!

From what I can tell, there are no audio drivers for Windows 11 for this computer. I had the same issue, and now I have to use a bluetooth headset for all conference calls and even to listen to videos. It's a complete pain. I hope HP fixes this, or I have to do a complete factory reset on the computer to return to Windows 10.

The Windows 11 22H2 Update is not showing up for me when I click Check For Updates. I read online that the update was blocked a few months ago for some Spectres because it caused BSOD issues, is this still the case? I am using the HP Spectre x360 13-aw2025na (11 Gen intel bought in November 2020).

Since the updater does not support Windows 11, I am not sure how this is helpful.   I too have no sound from my onboard speakers and all drivers are "up to date".   Seems like a clear compatibility issue with HP Spectre laptops...   Any fixes other than subscribing to your support program?
