Hi,
I updated HP Pavilion Gaming 15-cx000 Laptop to windows 11 using Microsoft's windows 11 assistant.
After updating I tested the camera, all keyboard keys, and the fn keys. all work fine.
but the built in microphone and speakers don't work.
the drivers refused to install, and the devices are not shown in the Device manager menu.
any solution to this problem ?
p.s. windows 7 drivers didn't work either.

You posted what I needed to see...
Under the Sound, video and game controllers device manager category, there is only the Nvidia audio device listed.
That category should also have the Realtek HD audio device listed there, and as you can see there is a problem with the Intel HD audio device, which is part of the Realtek audio system.
The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if manually installing the audio driver from the Intel HD audio device works.
If you did not delete the sp96442 audio driver folder that was created when you ran the file, go to the device manager.
Click on the problem Intel High Definition DSP device listed there.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update driver.
Select the Browse my computer for drivers option and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.
That folder will be located in C:\SWSetups\sp96442.
Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked, and see if the driver installs that way.
If it does, restart the PC.
If it doesn't, see if this driver works instead.

If not, I recommend you go back to W10 until HP releases W11 drivers to your notebook's support page.
