Hi @RAZA45678,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP laptop is showing a "You just plugged/unplugged a device from the audio jack" pop-up continuously and your speakers aren't working, try the following steps to resolve the issue.
Check the Audio Jack: Ensure that nothing is physically wrong with the audio jack. Sometimes dust or debris can cause connectivity issues. Use compressed air to clean out the port gently if needed.
Restart Your Laptop: A simple restart might resolve the issue if it's caused by a temporary software glitch.
Update Audio Drivers:
- Right-click on the Start menu and select Device Manager.
- Expand Sound, video and game controllers.
- Right-click on your audio device and select Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
Reinstall Audio Drivers:
- Go to Device Manager as described above.
- Right-click on your audio device and select Uninstall device.
- Restart your laptop, and Windows should reinstall the audio drivers automatically.
Check Sound Settings:
- Right-click the sound icon in the system tray and select Open Sound settings.
- Ensure that the correct playback device is selected. It should show as "Speakers" or a similar name.
Run the Troubleshooter:
- Go to Settings > System > Sound.
- Scroll down and click on Troubleshoot under the "Advanced sound options" section.
Check for Windows Updates:
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
- Click Check for updates and install any available updates.
Check Audio Jack Settings in BIOS:
- Restart your laptop and enter BIOS/UEFI settings (usually by pressing F2, F10, or Delete during startup).
- Look for any settings related to the audio jack and ensure they're configured correctly.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
