HP ZBook Firefly 14 inch G9 Mobile Workstation PC (4C3V1AV)

Hi,

I have a ZBook firefly that keeps turning off the Windows Audio service as soon as i plug it in to my docking station. I have tried docks of diferent types and brands but nothing works. When I start the service it stays on for 1 second but then turns itself off again, as soon as I unplugg the computer and turn it in it works. I have tried new drivers, uninstalling the drivers, checked BIOS for anything and I have even reinstalled the computer, but nothing works.  Would be great if somebody has a solution for this... The problem is independent on the docking station, I tested it with two different ones (Anker, Dell).

HI all,
I have continued my efforts and started to search windows /MS forums. Here I found a solution:
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/it-says-no-audio-device-is-installed-when-i-pl...

The solution is the following: Install Logitech Capture. In my case this resolved the audio issue. the Download is available here:
https://www.logitech.com/de-de/software/capture.html

Hope it works for others as well.

HI all,
I have narrowed down the issue by disconnecting all auxilliaries and adding one after the other to check when Audio goes away. The device which causes the issue is the Logitech C922 Pro Stream Webcam. It does not matter whether it gets connected through the docking station or directly at the Laptop.

When the C922 is not connected, the issue does not occur. This is reproducable.
So far, I have not identified a solution for this incompatibility.
