Hi @ABHIJEETMISHRA,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're experiencing audio crackling on your HP Laptop PC 15, here are a few steps you can try to fix the issue.
Update Audio Drivers:
- Go to the Device Manager (press Windows + X and select Device Manager).
- Expand the Sound, video and game controllers section.
- Right-click on your audio driver (usually Realtek or Intel) and select Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically for updated driver software and follow the instructions.
Disable Audio Enhancements:
- Right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select Sounds.
- Go to the Playback tab, right-click your audio device, and select Properties.
- In the Enhancements tab, check Disable all sound effects or uncheck any enhancements, then click Apply.
Check Power Settings:
- Sometimes, power-saving features can cause audio issues.
- Open Control Panel > Power Options.
- Ensure that you're using the Balanced or High Performance plan.
- Click on Change plan settings next to the selected plan, then click Change advanced power settings.
- Expand Processor power management and make sure Minimum processor state is set to 100%.
Run the Troubleshooter:
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
- Select Playing Audio and run the troubleshooter to detect and resolve any issues.
Adjust the Sample Rate and Bit Depth:
- Right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select Sounds.
- Go to the Playback tab, select your audio device, and click Properties.
- In the Advanced tab, change the Default Format to a different sample rate (e.g., 16-bit, 44100 Hz) and see if that resolves the crackling.
Check for Interference:
- If you have Bluetooth or other wireless devices, try turning them off to see if they are causing interference with the audio.
Reinstall Audio Drivers:
- If updating doesn't work, you can try uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it. In Device Manager, right-click the audio driver and select Uninstall device. Restart your laptop, and Windows should automatically reinstall the driver.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
