Product: HP Notebook - 15-r249tu
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

My audio driver is not working and not able to detece speaker and microphone.

I already instlled "Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver" with file name "sp69611.exe" but still not working..

Please help....

Hi,

 

Did you upgrade/downgrade your computer ? Have you tried the second one which is

 

     http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp69501-70000/sp69629.exe

 

from   http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-15-Notebook-PC-series/7486447/model/7748033

 

If still doen't work and you did downgrade/upgrade your machine, you need to install the following drivers (on the same link)  and reboot first

 

     Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver

     Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver

 

then install       http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp69501-70000/sp69629.exe
