Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

pls my pc automatically mute it self on boot up and most times I will lost sound in my laptop even if I through trial and error restore back the sound, it sounds somehow (the soundoutput is changed). Help! pls!

Its like ur solution actually worked, because 4 some days now d sound has been booming but not normal. anyway tnks bro.

Hey there! @alozy, Thank you for joining the HP Forums!

 

I understand that you have audio issues with your laptop.

 

Please try few steps recommended below.

 

Go to your Device Manager.
Expand the "Sound, video, and game controllers" section.
Right click on your sound card and select "Properties."
Navigate to the "Driver" tab.
Select "Roll Back Driver."
After it completes you should reboot your computer.

 

 

If the issue still persists, Please provide the product number of your PC. I will try to find the best drivers.

Thanks for trying out the steps.

 

Please try the steps mentioned below.

Open the Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Sound
Go to the Communication tab.
Select "Do nothing" and then click on OK to validate.

 

 

If the issue still persists, please perform a system restore.

 

Refer this article to know how to perform a system restore.
